As I drive into the scenic wooded acres of Logan County I see a little cozy cottage up on a hill. I drive towards the inviting cottage to smell the aroma of sizzling bacon, fried eggs, and fresh baked biscuits. Before I would even get out of my old beat-up ford truck I would sense the atmosphere of affection. I walk towards the small cottage to see my Grandpa standing on the screened in porch. My Grandpa would always be the one to greet me as I enter their house. Grandpa was a fragile man that never had a serious bone in his body.
My Grandpa was an inspiration to me and I will never forget the way he filled the room with happiness. Grandpa was about 6 feet tall and 135 pounds with salt and pepper hair. He had a low, deep voice like that of bears groan and his face was rough like sand paper. He was very dark complicated and had black bushy eyebrows across his forehead...
