What type of disease is it?
Diabetes can occasionally be caused by a hereditary (genetic) defect in the pituitary gland. But it commonly, arises for no known reason. Diabetes can also be lifestyle because of the way people look after there bodies. For example people that are very overweight can get type two diabetes.
Who is prone to getting diabetes?
Anyone can get diabetes it just the way you look after yourself or you just could be unlucky and get diabetes.
Children and young adults are most likely to get the type 1 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes older people tend to get, usually people older then 40 or People very overweight people.
