The issue asserts that technology creates, rather than solves, problems and decreases the quality of life. I concede that some technologies have generated harmful byproducts, but I also point out that in many cases, these results were caused by the human's abuse of these technologies, not by the technology itself. If human correctly utilize technologies, the quality of life increases rather than decrease. Supporting examples abound in all area of industry including automobile, mobile phone, and computer.
To begin with, consider automobile industry. No one doubts that the advancement of auto industry increases the quality of human life. The technology was basically designed to facilitate transportation and people's movement and its advantages have influenced various aspects of modern societies. However, when people did not correctly utilize this technology, it also have brought critical problem, especially car accident. Most of car accident is due to people's inattention such as drunk driving and drowsy. Although many car companies have tried to improve the capacity of their car to protect customs from fatal accidents, all these efforts is useless if people do not attend their own safety...
