The Fall of Evil Presently, science is aiding crime detection in many ways. This is mainly because anything in this physical universe is potential evidence in an investigation. This is done through advances done in science that are used to analyze and interpret evidence at a crime scene. These scientific advances in the scientific field of biology, chemistry, and physics provide great assistance to the criminal administration system. In the biological field of forensic science which is described as the application of science to law, detectives with the help of evidence such as a hair, saliva(cigarettes), fecal material, vaginal secretion, urine, semen, blood, and even your bone remains are able to get an idea of what might have happened. Many at times, forensic science uses highly developed technologies to uncover scientific evidence in a variety of fields. This includes the black light test, DNA test and fingerprint test. The black light test is used to identify semen, saliva, and other body fluids that are not visible to the naked eye. This test is most useful in cases of arson where criminals find pleasure in burning buildings and see it fit to “please themselves” at the place of the crime scene.
