The Emission of Climate Gases and its Impact on The Australian Climate and Environment
The world is getting hotter. The average temperature all over the earth made September 2003 the warmest month ever recorded on planet Earth. Global warming is not a new phenomenon but has occurred in intervals since the ice age. However, the major increase in temperatures that has been observed for the last one hundred years has never been seen before. Global warming is a result of our boosting economy, science and our request for energy. In this essay the author will take a closer look on the factors that causes the green house effect and explore some of its impact on our planet, our environment and climate. Furthermore this essay will focus on the political aspects that 'fuels' or 'ignites' the green house effect. In other words, why we are still polluting despite being aware of the possible consequences.
