Queen Elizabeth was a very big public profile. Back in her days, she was constantly in the public's eye. Giving speeches and making appearances is what the queen so popular bye the people. Just as she was popular then, we today still look up to her. Her portraits are hung in national museums everywhere and we still study the impact she had on England. As a woman, and especially as a single woman Queen Elizabeth had so much more to prove to the people of England. She knew her public profile must be set aprat form the rest. Many artists fought for the chance to paint portraits of her. A proclamation was drafted five years into her reign that set rules for any artists that wanted to paint a portrait of her. They wanted to make sure all portraits of her portrayed a positive image of the queen...
