Gun Control
Introduction:
A. Attention Getter: Firearms are a huge influence in the world today because you see them in movies, in the media, and in your own homes.
B. Topic Relevance: Guns are everywhere in society and chances are that most of you in the audience either own a gun, knows someone who owns a gun, or has came into contact with a gun at some point.
C. Specific Purpose: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the United States has over double the amount of deaths from firearms when being compared to any other country in the world.
D. Thesis Statement: Gun control is a very controversial subject and affects everyone in this country and I believe that in this democratic society we all should have an opinion.
E. Preview: In my speech, I will tell you about gun control along with presenting some of the problems and possible solutions to this highly controversial but extremely important issue...
