Signatory Officers Responsibilities
This handbook is intended for Student Association funded student groups executive board members who intend to have signatory powers for their groups budget. To be eligible for this, you must be the President or Treasurer.
After reviewing this handbook you must sit for the Treasurers Exam in order to gain signatory powers for your group. The Administrative Assistants will administer and grade your exam, and they will tell you whether or not you passed. You will not be able to have this or other materials present during the exam. Once you have passed the Treasurers Exam, you will be granted signatory powers for your group and your group only. You may not have signatory powers for more than one group, as this results in a conflict of interest.
Please retain this handbook for your reference throughout the year. You will be held responsible for adhering to the NYS fiscal policies. If your group is audited, and you or any member of your group is found to be in violation of the Student Associations fiscal policies, your signatory powers may be revoked...
