The issue of gun control has always intrigued me. Is it right for the average citizen or consumer to have access to a gun, be it legally or illegally? What I want to concentrate on most in my research is the regulation and control of guns and whether they should be legal to own or illegal. Do we really need guns in today's society? I can imagine a society in which there were no guns on the street, besides those of law enforcement. Would that seem like the right way to go? I decided to do this subject because it is one that seems very controversial and one in which I can hear both sides of the argument very well. Today, we hear of a lot of incidents where the wrong people have gotten their hands on a gun and have done harm with them. Now, in some cases the owner had a license and in some cases, the gun was illegally owned and in my research, I want to find out if these incidents of harm can be avoided.
I plan on researching this topic through the extensive use of the internet to find articles and information on why or why not gun control may be a good idea...
