... Walking down a country road the narrator encounters a point on his travel that diverges into two similar paths, which symbolizes the difficult choices people make in life.
Frost shows the conflict between choosing the common easy path and the exceptional challenging path. Taking the easy path means the outcome will most likely be predictable, although by taking the road "less traveled by" there is a risk of facing a more difficult path in life just so that you can be different. ... This poem relates to change in an indirect way, for Frost speaks not of a change, but of the dilemma humans experience when they are confronted with choices that must be made,
to create change for themselves, which inevitably must occur.
