Talzani
“There is no pattern to who lives or dies in a war. ... ”
Talzani seems to be a very wise man, he is able to be realistic while also having to deal with the stressful work of running a hospital.
After re-reading chapter one, Talzani’s true character became apparent to me, through times of war he has still been able to carry on in the most professional way to help his people, even with such limited supplies. ... Talzani knew this and had seen it before;
“sometimes we must envy the dead for it is the survivors who are truly lost”.
