50 Cent is no doubt popular, and at the top of the chart. He appeared at the MTV VMA's a couple of months ago and took home a stunning two awards, including awards for: Best rap video, Best New Artist in a Video. 50 Cent also received nominations for two other awards: Viewers Choice and Best Male Video (VH1.com). This immediately struck up conversation among many of my friends and associates. Recently, I was conversing with a friend of mine on the topic of hip-hop, when suddenly the conversation turned to the current hot topic, 50 Cent. My friend was trying to persuade me into believing that "50" was the best thing that has ever occurred to rap music, and I explained to him that 50 Cent couldn't rap if his life depended on it. The instant the words "50 Cent sucks" departed from my mouth, heads turned and jaws dropped. Instantly many individuals approached me telling me that "50 Cent is the shit!!" and that I suck because I don't like his music..
