Genetic engineering may help eliminate diseases like cancer and even stop the common cold, but if go and start healing every one our population will rise and we will destroy what we have tried to save. Until recently the ideas of changing ones DNA was unheard of now with new technology scientists are capable of changing genetic make up. And with this technology we will slowly lose our privacy and individuality.
Genetic engineering is dangerous and should not be practiced. We had many failures in the field of genetic engineering but only a couple of accomplishments. For example, in order to genetically engineer Dolly it took an astonishing two hundred and seventy seven attempts until Dr. Ian's team came out successful, but even then Dolly lived for only six years. And human DNA is much more complex than that of a sheep. And if it took two hundred and seventy seven attempts to clone a sheep how many will it take until we gat a human right.
