According to KPBS evening news, all the traveler agencies located in China Town has no business to do due to the mass coverage of SARS in Asia such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore and etc. ... S might have to expose to cases of SARS. They should monitor themselves at least 10 days. If passengers have a fever, cough, difficulty in breathing should consult a doctor. In advance of your visit to their doctor, they should let doctor know they have been to those regions recently and whether they might have in contact with somebody that carries the disease.
SARS has been No1 world most important news over Iraq War because it affects people on daily life. However, for some reasons, Chinese government hides some important information about the number of people infected and the number of people death at the beginning stage of the spread. So should Chinese Government conceal the truth of SARS? Personally, I think Chinese government should declare it as earlier as they can because SARS is a serious type of disease, it has bad influence to the society, it effect Chinese world position.
Why Chinese government would not declare more detailed information about SARS? Because many Chinese politicians believe that it would be better for Chinese increased economy if they hide some details of SARS.
In order to explain the action that Chinese government has taken, we need to talk about how SARS spreads.
“The primary way that SARS appears to spread is by close person-to-person contact. Most cases of SARS have involved people who cared for or lived with someone with SARS, or had direct contact with infectious material (for example, respiratory secretions) from a person who has SARS. Potential ways in which SARS can be spread include touching the skin of other people or objects that are contaminated with infectious droplets and then touching your eye(s), nose, or mouth. This can happen when someone who is sick with SARS coughs or sneezes droplets onto themselves, other people, or nearby surfaces.
