We all strive for a Utopia; every human, family, workplace, community, the whole world. In a perfection and how can we make things better mindset, we pursue this goal. Yet, is it for the better? In a Utopia there would be no pain or suffering. Then we need to obtain this Utopia, right? Truly though, pain can be both a negative factor in life and a lead to positive developments. Lois Lowry's The Giver gives a new perspective on a perfect world. That, here are some types of pain to avoid, but some suffering is needed for a growing society. Grief should be shared, its better for everyone.
