Two things that don't seem to be related can often be very similar in nature. Two things that I would like to juxtapose are cleaning my room and writing an essay. Like I said, they don't seem related at all, but for me they really are.
Take for instance the idea of audience. When you write an essay you have to decide who you're writing to. When I clean my room it's usually for friends or family who are coming over. The people who come over determine my level of cleanliness, as an essay written to my English teacher, or my close cousin determines my grammar usage.
When I start cleaning my room I usually begin by getting everything out of the closet. This is usually haphazard and all of the things I've shoved in there just go all over the floor. This is similar to pre-writing activities...
