Mission/Vision Statements
There are different ways that a company can label what their mission or what their
vision is for having their company. A company's mission/vision statement can affect the
buyers and users or the workers that work there. Who wants to work for a company that
is only running because they want to benefit themselves? Supporters want a company or
corporation that is going to benefit everyone in the world. It is good to see that a
company's mission is to help the world economically and socially. It is also good to see a
company have a vision of curing things such as world hunger or homeless people on the
streets. It is a company's mission/vision statements that tell what they are really about.
Ben & Jerry's mission statement was very clear, straight to the point, and had
three interrelated parts to go with it. The product mission was to make, distribute, and
sell ice cream that had natural quality. They also wanted to use natural ingredients and
promote their business in a way that respected the earth and the environment at the same
time...
