In this essay I speak of a conversation I had with one of my freinds about our opinions on marriage. I also explain what we thought about growing up in our grandparents and parents worlds verses ours.Today, marriage is no longer a big deal. People get divorced as often as they switch cars. Many don't even want to be married, they want to live their lives to the fullest and be with whoever they want then move on when the time comes. Love is a word used so freely that anymore it has lost alot of its meaning. Marriage can be a wonderful thing, if done for the right reasons.
I was talking to my freind Kris online when he told me he was writing a paper for his religous studies class on marriages. He had asked what my opinion of why people decide to get married. I told him that, "I think people get married when they are in love to prove there loyalty to one another and to show to what extent they love each other"...
