Sudden infant death syndrome is the sudden death of a infant. Its causes are still unexplained. It is
responsible for more deaths then any other in children. Usually baby's from one month to one year old. It
has claimed 150,000 victims in the United states in our generation, United States in this generation alone
It takes about 7,000 baby's lives each year, that's almost one baby an hour. It can affect any type of race.
A parent or a Doctor cannot predict that something is going wrong with the child, Actually in most cases
the baby will appear healthy prior to their death. There are some theory's that may explain why this
happens in baby's. The first is that stress may be caused in a normal baby which could be caused by
infection or other things. A birth defect could also be the cause of SIDS...
