One of the main characters in Lord of the Flies was Piggy. Piggy was a consistent character in the book. Piggy was a brave boy who suffers a lot through out the book. Piggy was a fat boy and his hair never grew long like the other kids. He got picked on and was subjected to many torturous actions.
Piggy had smart ideas that helped the other kids on the island. Piggy was the kind of boy that even though he was a kid, he acted and thought like an adult. It was Piggy who had the idea of the meetings, and the conch. It was also Piggy who explained to the boys that they had to keep the fire burning in order to be rescued.
