1) The story is about Summy quit his job after Mr. Lengel embarrass three teenage girls which walk in the store with nothing on but bathing suits. 2) Summy(I), Mr. Lengel, McMahon, three girls-Queenie 3) The main thing displeased me in the story is Summy quit his job because he thought Mr. Lengel embarrass those three girls. At the end of the story, Summy looks around for the girls, the writer describes “ I look around for my girls, but they’re gone, of course”. This sentences how mature Summy is. Because they’re just the consumers not his girls. 4) The title of this story is closed. A&P is the store name and story describes what decision Summy make after Mr.
