World War II
World War II was a war that changed the world as we knew it. What occurred during those few years will affect the whole world as a whole forever. There we so many complications, secrets, and stories that every so often a new secret is discovered or story revealed. As Adolf Hitler came to power, his ideas were forced into people's minds, especially young people, creating a new belief that would last forever. Even today, there are people who would agree completely with Hitler's ideas and morals. They support him 100%. Not only will beliefs and morals be carried on, but as time progresses and complications arise, officials will compare those problems with the procedures during WWII. For years to come, people will always return to the war as a source of information to prevent a problem, as a model of what to never let happen again, for military tactics, or as simply a memory that is told over and over again. The world has learned so much from this war.
When people look back, they can never comprehend what it was like to lay your life "upon the alter of freedom"...
