Hamlets tragic flaw would be his thoughts. He thinks too much and takes too much time. He had so much hatred toward his uncle after he finds out the truth of his fathers death. He could have killed Claudius a lot earlier. Because the way that his uncle killed his father made his father suffered after his death, therefore he wanted his uncle to die at the same way. The way he did it was to wait for the chanced and he was aware of his failing while he was waiting. He just kept blame himself that he is such a useless person or something like that. Because of his tragic flaw, it caused a lot of innocent peoples death and made the play longer. Hamlets father was dead at the beginning. The rest of the story had to contain eight more peoples death...
