The debate about fox hunting in England has been raging for years. It has split the country in two because just about everyone has their opinion on the issue. Should it be banned or should it continue? Is it a cruel unnecessary bloodsport or is it a just another sport no different from any other? There are many people supporting both sides with credible arguments. The main issue of fox hunting is the cruelty factor. Fox hunters claim that foxes are subject to clean swift kills to the back of the neck, however, anti fox hunting protesters believe that fox hunting is by all means cruel. The League Against Cruel Sports, a group dedicated to stopping fox hunting in England, has claimed to have found a fox with injuries inflicted by hounds to the hind legs.
