One anachronism happens when Marullus is speaking in Act I, Scene i, line forty. He says, "to tow'rs and windows, yea, to chimney tops." During this time period, chimney tops did not exist, and that makes this an anachronism.
A second anachronism is in Act II, Scene i, lines one hundred ninety through one hundred ninety-three, where Brutus, Trebonious, and Cassius are talking and the clock strikes. This is an anachronism because during this time clocks did not exist. They used sundials back in this time period.
The third anachronism is in Act IV, Scene iii, lines two hundred seventy-two and two hundred seventy-three. Brutus says, " Let me see, let me see; is not the leaf turned down where I left reading? Here it is, I think." He is looking for a book that he had been reading earlier, and that makes this an anachronism, because in that time period, people read from scrolls, not books...
