Cell Comparison
In this lab I was trying to find out the different shapes, sizes, and composition of different cells. I used a very high-tech microscope to observe different types of cells. I observed human hair, human cheek cells, elodea plant cells, and old rotten yogurt, which is a type of bacteria cell. I also observed a protozoa cell, a preserved mushroom, and human bone. Of those cells some look different and some look the same.
In class I learned how to use a microscope when looking at different things. After I learned how to use a microscope and how to take care of them, I looked at the different cells. I took the contained cells and put them on the slide and then put a drop of water on them. Then I took a very thin piece of glass and put that over the contained cells.
