Saving Private Ryan
The death and destruction of war is great in any case. ... The movie, Saving Private Ryan,
shows all the tragedies and triumphs of war. Each character goes through both mental and physical
hardships while they try to save Private James Francis Ryan, played by Matt Damon. The views and
opinions of Captain Miller, Sergeant Horvath, and Private Reiben toward their mission to save this man
they do not even know differ from one another. ... One example of this is he does not tell his
troops where his is from or what is occupation is back home, until Private Reiben wishes not to continue
with the group and starts to leave. ...
Captain Millers opinion of easing the suffering of a mother, great attitude towards the situation, and
sensational leadership was the reason that Private Ryan was successfully rescued and sent home.
