filled with too many bigots that nobody needs.
this is the introduction of a poem written by Ian Glass called Death to Hate, a very strong emotive title for thee poem which depict just some of the intolerance we frequently witness.
Good morning Mrs. smith and class
Intolerance, prejudice, bias, hatred, misunderstanding, bigotry, narrow-mindedness, unfairness, discrimination, inequity are all words linked to intolerance, this helps you comprehend the wide spectrum of hate this world contains.
Intolerance is like a poison, it affects almost everyone until they can not see as individuals the reason behind their prejudice.
Referring to the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee which was initially published in the 1960's, still a considerably intolerant era. In the novel all the evidence clears Tom Robinson of the assault he is being held accountable for. The accusers and the suspicious sole witness is Bob Ewell the father of Mayella, the declared sexual assault victim. The Ewells are unreliable,
disgraceful town outcasts.
So why is this innocent man sentenced to death for a crime he should be quickly acquitted for?..
