Erin Brokovich (Julia Roberts) – is a single mother, bringing up three children. ... Two unsuccessful marriages have not added to Erin’s confidence, but she was trying her best. ...
On one perfect day (to be more exact , sad day) a man, having broken traffic regulations, runs into Erin’s car. She, with the help of the not well known lawyer Ed Mersy (Albert Finney) tries to receive compensation for damages, but even in court Erin did not hesitate to express herself, therefore sue could not reach the jurymen and indemnification and has not been received. For Erin it became a tragedy because it was necessary to pay for treatment after failure, and she did not even have not enough money for the maintenance of her children.
