A college education is somewhat of a treasure; it is time and money both well spent. Obtaining a college education can open many doors for an individual, while those without one can get left if the dust. Individuals with college educations have better job opportunities, earn more pay, and develop skills and knowledge that provide them with more of an advantage to succeed in their future than their less educated peers. A college education is an investment for the future that appreciates over time; it continues to pay you back for the rest of your life. I would like to expand a little more on the value of a college education. ...
     There are many advantages to attending college. College breeds successful, motivated, mature, and goal oriented individuals. Higher education provides a competitive edge, for those who take advantage of it, to become successful in the job market. The college experience is a time to test yourself to see what you are capable of achieving; it is important preparation for the real world. ... Remember that the future of our children lies in the hands of today’s successful college students. Parents that attend college set a good example for their children, and college students are more likely to bear children that go to college. ... When choosing between a college graduate and a high-school graduate, without hesitation, most employers will usually choose the college graduate. ... Attending college will enhance an employees potential through work based learning, allowing them to utilize their newly acquired skills to further develop and improve their current position. ... The flexibility of College class schedules, along with the endless amounts of available tuition assistance make it much more convenient and affordable for people with families, hectic schedules, and tight budgets to obtain a degree.
