Teen Pregnancy
Although studies show teen pregnancy is on the decrease, we still
have a long ways to go before we can say it’s under control. Teen
pregnancy crosses every social, economic,religious background and even
race. Some people may think that because they come from a family where
things like pregnancy don’t occur to teenagers because of wealth, parents
with good careers and nice homes, they fail to see the reality of things and
realize that because of what they have. ...
As a teen, or even a single person today, we must consider the risks of
having sex along with the consequences and outcomes and also be aware or
the prevention methods we have offered out there.
Why some teens want to get pregnant :
While most teens are concerned about avoiding pregnancy, a certain group
out there actually want to have a baby. ... When a girl is in a relationship with a guy, she may use
pregnancy as her weapon in hopes that he will stick around with her for the
baby. ... These decisions include, continuing the pregnancy, raising the
child, the two types of adoption or abortion which is the termination of the
pregnancy. ...
She may choose to have and raise the baby, can have the baby and then
place up for adoption or terminate the pregnancy also known as abortion. ... As a
young teen, most relationships are not stable and there is usually not a strong
commitment and the father would not stick around to provide the basic help
that a father should play an important role in.
