Film criticism of Landscape in the mist

     I selected the 1988 film, Landscape in the Mist by a world-know Greek director, Theo Angelopoulos as the tropic to be investigated according to its narrative form comparing to the classical Hollywood cinema. In this paper, I will first try to outline the characteristics of classical Hollywood narrative; through we would investigate whether Landscape in the Mist belongs to it in terms of narrative structure, editing and mise-en-scene. ...
