In our daily lives we define education as the field of knowledge dealing with technical aspects of teaching. To some education is the only sure source of success, and to others being educated is just another phase in life. Although the basis in which we learn from comes from experiments and theories that have some how been proven, from our text books, and our dictionaries, in our education we can find ourselves. In our knowledge through education we can obtain the values that we are taught to believe in, and the culture that we are so eagerly looking to find. We stumble across many ideas that have been presented to society and in those ideas we find our personal beliefs, weather they concern religion, politics, or just plain morals. Some of our famous leaders and world wide icons have proved this to be true.
Education comes in various shapes and forms. Everyone who is well education wasn't necessarily educated in school. For example, Malcolm X who ironically found himself in jail rather then school become one of the greatest known leaders in history. He found that, "anyone who has read a great deal can imagine the new world that opened" (225)...
