Abstract
This project is a culmination of our combined efforts to study and analyze the marketing mix of Wal-Mart Inc. We would like to thank Anna Citavelli, James Granata, and the numerous Wal-Mart and Target customers that aided in the completion of our project. We then would like to the thank Mrs. Vanessa Spiller for the opportunity to take part in such an alluring, cultural study, field research assignment.
The commencement of our research began with an interview of a representative from the Wal-Mart public relations department, Anna Citavelli. Ms. Citavelli supplied us with a fair amount of information but her hands were bound by laws protecting rights to trade secrets. We then looked towards Wal-Mart shoppers for their views on Wal-Mart's marketing mix. While conducting our surveys we were lucky enough to experience the difference in preferences between Wal-Mart and Target customers.
