Speech on the topic “Nothing is Static: everything is forever changing”
Good Morning fellow students
When considering the sentence Nothing is static: everything is forever changing, I recall the many physical, attitudinal and emotional changes that happened and evolved throughout the story in The Taming of the Shrew, the article “Sky high”, the poem“The Door” as well as in the cartoon” “ the Seven Ages of man”
Even though these items are written in different forms they all show that nothing is constant and it is forever changing. ... Everything is forever changing. ... This poem reflects the changing ideals in society in the USSR in 1967 at a time when freedom of thought and questioning were not encouraged
This change in imagery shows a change in the idea that outside there could be things to see such as trees, woods, gardens, or even imaginary things like a magic city . ... The physical changes are represented as an infant changing into a child then changing into an adolescent then young adult. ...
The physical changes are shown by the height differences, change in posture, change of clothes, change in the amount of hair on his head and the hairstyle, changes in vision requiring glasses
The emotional changes go from needing help and guidance through to independence and changing back to requiring help and guidance at the end of life.
