Dental Assistant
The career I had chosen was called "Dental Assistant", I think I will be really good at this job because they work at a desk, file paper work, and take down appointments for the people that need to see a dentist; I will be able to do that.
In order to become a dental assistant you must graduate from high school and attend college for a maximum of four years, but before you think about becoming a dental assistant at least take a health class that have to do with your career. Dental Assistants are not required to have their licensed; they may work before thinking about getting the paper that they must need.
The job I am interested in is working with is a National Dental Office, where I can work with many other people. The median salary for the dental assistant in the year of 2001 was $247,720, since then the rate has gone up to $300,000 but that is only in a year. The dental assistants works under the supervision of a dentist, dental laboratory technician or public office manager that will be over there shoulder to make sure that they are doing ever thing right, but only be for a short period of time. Most of the dental assistants works 32 to 40 hours a week with time off during the week if they work on Saturday, now that's some of them, because most of them work Monday through Friday but have Saturday, and Sunday' off.
Dental Assistant may receive paid vacations, holidays, and sick days; life and health insurance; and retirement benefits also. Some of the employers that are working in that position usually provide an allowance for the purchase of uniforms; time off to attend professional meetings, and free dental care.
The outlook of all of this is that the population growth and greater retention of natural teeth by middle-aged, won't be so hard to take care of, but with the older people they will fuel and make sure they will demand for dental service...
