Since the dawn of time, philosophers have been attempting to answer the major philosophical question, what is the nature of the universe. Although many theories have been formulated, the famous Greek philosopher, Plato, will be forever known for his theory of the World of Forms. This theory proposes that there is an alternate realm that is reality. His theory is credible and should be considered by any aspiring philosopher. Many philosophers following Plato either adopted his theory and changed it to be their own, or pondered his theory for some time until they decided it was not believable. ... He provides a wealth of ideas that have laid the base for philosophy and therefore his theory of the World of Forms is convincing.
