My 33rd birthday was indeed a special one. I celebrated it at one of the seven wonders of the world! Believe it or not, I was at Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
My trip to Angkor Wat was not really preplanned as my any other trips. My sisters and I did the flight booking only one week before departure and I only confirmed our lodging through internet. It was indeed a surprise for myself.
My adventure started when we crossed the border of Thailand and Cambodia. At that point, it seemed like we were at another world. Everything looked so old and there was not much of developments. People still travelled by hand-push carts...
