	Aganist Censorship
	The United States is a strong nation for one main reason; it encourages freedom of speech, competition of ideas. Competition of ideas helps us keep our country strong, technically, industrially, and economically. Using censorship in government, television, and music threatens our freedom of speech. The United States government should not create new censorship laws and should uphold our first amendment right. Censorship in the government and news is very common in our society today. Governments or groups try to preserve beliefs by preventing knowledge of other beliefs. We should have the right to know both sides of the story.
