INTRODUCTION
The aim of this essay is to provide an overview of the Physiology and fluid balance regulation, and the associated implications for practice in a patient that was admitted with acute renal failure. It will demonstrate an understanding of the needs associated with clinical practice on critical care and a research based material and evidence of some areas of care in critically ill patient. The essay will also highlight the importance and influences affecting compliance and psychosocial implications of fluid balance in a patient with ARF.
