The 1920s in America was a time of great change. It witnessed the end of World War I, which
ended up making the society explode in a million different directions. The 1920s also saw
woman voting, prohibition, the Harlem Renaissance, and the middle class rising. They were
staring to be able to afford some of the things the rich could. Automobiles and electronic
appliances made peoples lives much easier which in tern gave them more leisure time to spend
doing what they wanted. With all this time they had on there hands different things became
important to the people of the twenties, like there fashion. The women more so then the men
but both became more aware of their looks. During this time, improved production methods
enabled manufactures to easily produce clothing affordable by working families.
There were many different social trends in the twenties for the women. The women felt free
spirited and wanted to have fun...
