Wag the Dog
Only two weeks before Election Day and the Washington Post prints a campaign crippling scandal on their front page about the President. Before this scandal can have an effect the Presidents staff calls Dr. Fixit, Conrad Brean (Robert De Niro). Brean is able to manipulate the press and the American people. He is a present day Houdini holding one hand behind his back while the other is waving furiously to grab their (press, public) attention. Why does a dog wag its tail?, because a dog is smarter than its tail. If the tail were smarter, the tail would wag the dog. Now Brean is the tail, and his dog the American public and press.
