Shallow Grave
The film was directed and released in 1994, by Danny Boyle. Danny Boyle also directed Trainspotting. This film was written at a time when it was fashionable to be British. Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit were on the front cover of Time magazine in America. A lot of the music around was 'Britpop'. Shallow Grave was also one of the first 'Brit flicks' to be released. The film captures the Zeitgeist ( the spirit of the times). As the film was set in Scotland, it also shows Scotland as fashionable.
