Ancient Greeks and Romans
Physical and Philosophical Contributions
Through history, the Greeks and Romans had done many of things and had believed in a lot of different things that had taken a big role where as today, we contribute to those things. Greeks and Romans had delivered both physical and philosophical contributions to the present life that we live in today. Some of them being the use of government by the Greek and Romans, the subjects that we study today in schools, and the use of glass today.
In ancient Rome, their government was ruled by an Emperor, the first and most important part of making political decisions and his help of the three divided branches-the judicial, executive, as well as the legislative. This form of government had later been adopted into Ancient Greece and is also used in the United States today. Substituting the president in place of the emperor and using men in the three divided branches, there you see an similarity between Ancient Rome and the Present United States. Voting is also a contributing factor; in Ancient Rome, men were not allowed to vote unless he is an adult. In the United States, you are not allowed to vote until you are an adult, but the difference is being that women can now vote as well.
