What is evidence-based analysis? For whom is the need for evidence-based policy analysis increasing and why? How important is quantitative methodology in the geography curriculum? These are the main questions that arise when I read the essay title. By looking at the characteristics, and the successes and failures of evidence-based policy case studies I intend to answer these questions and more in order to give a balanced discussion on the essay title. Then I will be in a better position to devote the last part of the essay reaching a conclusion.
