I woke up to another sunny normal day, or at least I thought it was going to be normal. The date was September 11th 2001. It was actually only my second day at my new job. My friend ended up giving me a ride because my car was getting fixed and as I got dropped off, we made plans for the afternoon. I went to work wondering what I would do in the near future, little did I know, many people were about to have their future stolen.
I'm sure everyone in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon also went about their morning as usual as ever, even making plans for the future also. I had only been at work for about an hour and decided to go to the cafeteria and get myself some breakfast.
Coincidentally, as I arrived to the cafeteria the radio went to a breaking news report and the DJ said, "A plane has crashed into one of the Twin Towers." There were only a few other people in the cafeteria but no one realized what had just been reported. I was puzzled and I asked someone, "Did you just hear that a plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers?..
