Being a goal oriented person, I enjoy the immediate gratification attained through the process of clinically assessing patients, taking action to correct potential problems, and finally observing the results which are life saving in most instances. Accordingly, the fast paced atmosphere of the critical care unit offers the unique environment I thrive on. I graduated with a Medical Doctorate degree from the American University of Beirut in July 2002. At the University's tertiary care center, I was exposed to many patients confronting a variety of medical conditions. I was fascinated by watching the process of the investigative mind of intensivists while establishing a diagnosis, understanding the pathophysiological problems and performing the appropriate therapeutic procedures.
