I have had the opportunity to work with and evaluate the organizational structure within S & F Online and have concluded that our current structure is utilizing a functional structure that is preventing the free flow of pertinent information up and down the chain of command. It is also my assertion that this current organizational structure will present a hurdle from a strategic viewpoint in that it may lead to discontent between the different workgroups. To avoid possible issues down the road with communication breakdowns and team conflict, I would like to bring to your attention the Project Manager, James Argyle. I believe his conflict management skills, team-playing skills and his prior experience will be essential in smoothing over any issues that may arise interdepartmentally as our company grows. ...
