One of the influences of change may be a want for accountability. (Although in some cases accountability may simply be a nice way of saying, "who's to blame?") Having someone else to blame removes responsibility from an individual or organization. But If McDonalization creates a world where nothing can go wrong, there'll be no need for accountability or blame... of course, if nothing can go wrong, can anything go right... Yikes!
