I am very interested in going to Spain next year. I would like to learn about and experience a new culture. I have been taking Spanish for four years and have learned a great deal about the language, but now I would like to experience the culture. I would like to improve my understanding of the language, and fluency in Spanish. I would also like to better understand the Spanish culture and develop sensitivity to other cultures. I would like to experience life socially in a different country and see how their way of life is different from America's. I will be open to do things like they are done in Spain to get the full experience of the exchange.
I have already been involved with the exchange when the students from Spain came to America this past year. I hosted a student and had an amazing experience and a great time with her. We got along very well and had a lot of fun with each other...
